Just yesterday I went out into the yard. I love the yard, for it is filled with flowers, so I decided to photograph them. When I came out, Oreo lazily Greeted me. Even though she doesn't show it she adoressss company. Soooo, I looked at the flowers around me, to see which were in bloom. The peach rose bush had many lovely flowers and so did many others plants. After I took many pictures I returned home. I plan to draw some of the pictures of the prettiest garden.

Fairy Tales
Sometimes you don't feel like reading a novel, so you read a fairy tale. They are usually short, sweet, and sometimes even clever. Most of the time these stories have illustrations. Some fairy tales are hundreds of years old or come from all around the world.
Two famous story makers were the Grimm brothers. Besides making stories they also collected stories all around their country, Germany. Some of their stories are "The Frog Prince" (Der Froschkönig), "Hansel and Gretel" (Hänsel und Gretel), "Rapunzel", "Rumpelstiltskin" (Rumpelstilzchen), "Sleeping Beauty" (Dornröschen ) and "Snow White" (Schneewittchen).
Their is also Hans Christian Anderson. He was a Danish writer. Some of his works include: The Ice Maiden,The Little Mermaid, , The Elf of the Rose, and The Ugly Duckling. To read these and other stories by Hans Christian Anderson go to http://hca.gilead.org.il/
I think it would be fun to illustrate one of these classic stories. Rapunzel would especially be fun to draw and paint. What would you illustrate and what fairy tale is your favorite?
Most importantly, whatever age you are you can never grow out of Fairy Tales, for they help make the world a little bit happier!

One Year
I remember last spring the craze for blogging. The craze has died down, but I kept commenting and blogging as well as a few others. Amazingly enough, one year has passed since my first blog Spring at Last( finally). The same thoughts are still in my head, but it is a little sad to know that time is done and i must make way for a new year and time. Thank you to all my blogger friends for staying true for the whole year, you are all amazing. I also enjoyed hearing your comments. I still cant believe this blog is one years old. Maybe this blog will be two years next year and so on, but for now it's one year

Kindle
Do you adore to read? Then the kindle is for you. This handy tool can store up to 3000 books! Did I mention it's thinner than a pencil? But that is not it's only feature. It can go on the internet, write notes, and much, much more. One of my favorite things is the many different cases and skins you can buy to put on your kindle. They not only protect the 130$ kindle, but make it look cute too.( :
I love the kindle!

Crocheting
Crocheting is one of my favorite things to do.I learned about a year or two ago, from Eirene. Eirene is my artist, crocheter, and culinary friend. At first it was difficult to master, because she was right handed, and I was left handed. Then one day it just clicked, and it became one of my favorite hobbies.I also knit, but I am not crazy about it.(thanks to Eirene's mom for teaching knitting to me)

Good luck and have fun
One of the benefits of crocheting is that there is so much to make. You can make stuffed animals, scarfs, bags, clothes, and sooooooo much more. I made tons of scarfs, jewelry, and granny squares with intricate patterns, as well as some other odds and ends. Now I am making a hat for my doll. It is going to be brown and pink. All crocheting takes is yarn and a hook. I have added a video that can teach you some simple stitches in crocheting.
