One Year
I remember last spring the craze for blogging. The craze has died down, but I kept commenting and blogging as well as a few others. Amazingly enough, one year has passed since my first blog Spring at Last( finally). The same thoughts are still in my head, but it is a little sad to know that time is done and i must make way for a new year and time. Thank you to all my blogger friends for staying true for the whole year, you are all amazing. I also enjoyed hearing your comments. I still cant believe this blog is one years old. Maybe this blog will be two years next year and so on, but for now it's one year

Kindle

Do you adore to read? Then the kindle is for you. This handy tool can store up to 3000 books! Did I mention it's thinner than a pencil? But that is not it's only feature. It can go on the internet, write notes, and much, much more. One of my favorite things is the many different cases and skins you can buy to put on your kindle. They not only protect the 130$ kindle, but make it look cute too.( :
I love the kindle!

Crocheting
Crocheting is one of my favorite things to do.I learned about a year or two ago, from Eirene. Eirene is my artist, crocheter, and culinary friend. At first it was difficult to master, because she was right handed, and I was left handed. Then one day it just clicked, and it became one of my favorite hobbies.I also knit, but I am not crazy about it.(thanks to Eirene's mom for teaching knitting to me)

Good luck and have fun
One of the benefits of crocheting is that there is so much to make. You can make stuffed animals, scarfs, bags, clothes, and sooooooo much more. I made tons of scarfs, jewelry, and granny squares with intricate patterns, as well as some other odds and ends. Now I am making a hat for my doll. It is going to be brown and pink. All crocheting takes is yarn and a hook. I have added a video that can teach you some simple stitches in crocheting.

The Frist Museum
On Thursday Eirene, Jessica, Alaycia, and I went to went to the Frist Museum .The Frist Museum is an art museum, but we went to see a fashion exhibit, called The Golden Age of Fashion: 1947-1957. There were tons off dresses and suits. The clothes were from big company's in London and Paris, such as Christian Dior. My favorite dress was pink with beads embroidered on it.
Then we went to a hands on workshop. Eirene and I both drew a picture of a candle holder. Since it was closing time, we could not look at everything, but we were able to visit the gift store. Eirene got us all postcards of our favorite dress or photograph. Then we went to the Parthenon, a copy of the original building in Greece. It was built for The World's Fair when it came to Nashville. It was originally made out of wood. The people loved it so much that they built again in concrete. It took ten years to build it in Nashville, the same amount time it took to build the original Parthenon. We also went to McKays, a used bookstore. I got a two novels for a low price. At last we went home and I fell asleep after watching Rumpelstiltskin.

Six Flags Great Adventure
Yesterday I went to Great Adventure with my mother, father, Teressa, Joe, and Richard. We left about 7 in the morning and we got there around 9. We went to the wild safari first. The reason I prefer the safari to a zoo is because they let their animals roam in the wild. The animals will even approach the car. They have bears (Yes they let their bears roam around), zebras, baboons, and a lot of other animals that you don't see every day. I rode all the scary roller coasters with my sister, but she would not go on Kingda Ka with me. No one would. Kingda Ka is the world's tallest roller coaster, and at the end of the day I went on it by myself. At first it started slowly and, then suddenly it sped to 128mph! I went up 456.ft, stopped, and saw the New York city skyline, and then I went down 465.ft. It was great! As a prize, my dad got me a Kingda Ka mug that showed all the facts about this wonderful roller coaster. More flags. More fun. Six Flags.
